Chao Dioscorea opposita (Shan Yao, dioscorea)
Chao Euryale ferox (Qian Shi, seed of gordon euryale)
Phellodendron chinensis (Huang Bo, phellodendron)
Plantago asiatica (Che Qian Zi, plantago)
|Ginkgo biloba (Yin Xing, ginkgo nut)

Major therapeutic action
Nourishes the Kidney, clears Heat, removes Dampness, stops leukorrhoea.

Biomedical action
Antibacterial.

Indications
o Damp in lower jiao.
o  Chronic vaginitis, chronic cervicitis and leukorrhoea.

Dosage
The typical dose is three grams twice daily, before meals. In severe cases or the early stages of treatment (the first two weeks), a 50-100% increase in dose may be used, then reduced as the treatment takes effect.
