Major therapeutic action
Calms the emotions, stops spasms, dizziness, vertigo.

Biomedical action
Lowers the blood pressure, takes on sedation effect, relieves the spasm of smooth muscles.

Indications
o  For use by patients with ruddy complexion, red face or eyes, stress symptoms manifesting as headache or high blood pressure.
o  Hypertension, eclampsia, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis.

o  distension in the head

Combinations
Add to other formulas where there are symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, spasm, or a sensation of heat rising up to the head. 		Dosage
The typical proportion when added to a constitutional formula is 6:1 formula to addition (15 grams in 75- 90) grams of formula). If a stronger effect is desired more can be added. When used alone the dose is three grams twice daily.
