Mice treated with radiation of 60Co were administrated with e jiao solution (0.1g/0.3ml per mouse, once daily, for consecutive 15 days) through gastrogavage, and the 56Fe intaking rate of the marrow was higher than those of the control groups by 19% and 35% respectively, and the marrow karyocyte count was higher than those of the control groups too.

Anti-shock effect

Intravenous injection of e jiao solution at the dosage of around 8ml/kg to cats with hemorrhagic shock could elevate the blood pressure and the effect was persistent.
