Cortex Albizziae julibrissinis is the dried stem bark of Albizia julibrissin Durazz. ( Fam. Leguminosae). The drug is collected in summer and autumn, and dried in the sun.

The herb is indicated in the treatment of infertility, globus hystericus and hepatic abscess.

Infertility

For people with positive anti-sperm antibody onload="highlight();" , Xiao Kang Tang (experiential formula) was used: chai hu, xiang fu, yu jin, yi mu cao, dang gui, he shou wu, shi shao, bai shao, shu di, yi yi ren, qin jiao, he huan pi, etc.. 1 dose every day, water decoction, 2 months as a course of treatment, 54 cases were treated and 42 were cured (among which 26 got pregnant).

Globus hystericus

ban xia, hou po, yu jin, 10g each; fu lin 15g; su gen, su zi, 12g each; sheng da mai ya 30g; he huan pi 25g; and fo shou 9g were used to treat globus hystericus. 1 dose every day. Modify the formula according to TCM differentiation. Electrotherapy was also applied. All 68 treated cases were effective.

Hepatic abscess

he huan pi 15g, jin qian cao 50g, for 6~12 days. All 3 treated cases were effective.
