Talcum is indicated in the treatment of reflux esophagitis, stranguaria due to Heat, summer-Heat, body onload="highlight();" odor, skin diseases such as eczema, heat rash, and hemorrhoids, etc..

Miscellaneous effects |
hua shi could protect the skin and mucous membrane. After oral administration, hua shi could protect the intestinal canal and had anti-inflammatory, anti-diarrhea effect. It coud prevent the toxin absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. Its decoction had inhibitory effect on typhoid bacillus, bacillus paratyphosus and staphylococcus aureus, etc.. |

Reflux esophagitis |
hua shi, huang lian, sheng gan cao, zhi ke and chen pi were grounded into fine powder in the proportion of 6:1:1:2:2. 3g each time, taken with decoction of 10 pieces of da zao. Three times daily, 4 weeks as a course of treatment. 27 out of 30 treated cases of reflux esophagitis were effective. |
