Herba Cynomorii songarici is the fleshy stem of Cynomorium songaricum Rupr. (Fam. Cynomoiaceae). It's collected in spring or autumn, removed from inflorescence and dried in the sun.

Thrombocytopenic purpura |
Oral administration of Complex Suo Yang Granule, 1 month as a course of treatment, for 1~3 courses. The method was used to treat 158 cases of thrombocytopenic purpura, and 145 cases were effective. |
Senile chronic bronchitis |
Xian Ling Mixture (experiential formula): yin yang huo, suo yang, xu duan, gou ji, shi da gong lao ye, huang qi, dang shen. After 1 year's treatment on senile chronic bronchitis, the pulmonary ventilatory function was improved; OKT3 and OKT4 in T cell subgroup as well as the ration of OKT4/OKT3 were elevated significantly. |
Infertility |
Sheng Jing Wine (wine that can help generate sperms, experiential formula): yin yang huo 60g; suo yang, ba ji tian, rou cong rong, wang bu liu xing, tu si zi, 30g each; huang qi 50g; zhi fu pi, che qian zi, nu zhen zi, she chuang zi, 20g each; hai gou shen 5 pieces; shan yu rou, shu di, gou qi, 40g each; gan cao 15g. All the herbs were soaked in 2000ml distilled spirit for 10 days. Drink the wine, 15~30ml, tid. The method was used to treat infertility due to abnormal sperms caused over intake of cottonsed oil. |
