Concha Arcae is the shell of Arca subcrenata Lischke, Arca granosa Linnaeus or Arca inflate Reeve (Fam. Arcidae). The drug is collected from autumn and winter to next spring, washed clean, treated with boiling water for a moment, removed from soft part, and dried.

Gastric and duodenal ulcer |
Gan Leng San (wa leng zi and gan cao of equal amount grounded into powder), 4g, itd. 50 cases of ulcer were treated, 20 were cured, 26 improved. |
Hepatosplenomegaly due to schistosomiasis |
Wa Leng Zi Wan (wa leng zi, chuan shan jia, lei wan, shui zhi, etc.), 15g, tid was used to treat 92 cases of hepatosplenomegaly due to schistosomiasisk. 93% cases had liver shrinked, and 86.6% cases had spleen shrinked. |
