Galium is the whole plant of Galium aparine var. tenerum (Gren. Et Codr.) Rchb. (Fam. Rubiaceae). It's collected in summer, dried in the sun, or used when fresh.

Anti-tumor effect |
zhu yang yang could inhibit the growth of tumor cells. in vivo tests showed that it had inhibitory effect on S180 and leukemia in mice. zhu yang yang can be used to treat cancer and leukaemia, and often combining with ban zhi lian, bai hua she she cao, long gui, etc..
