Bu Gu Zhi Injection (containing 4g crude drug) was injected into acupoint Ding Chuan, etc. to treat bronchial asthma, 30 days as a course of treatment. 35 cases were treated, and the effective rate of calming asthma was 84.4%.
Bu Gu Zhi Tablet (each tablet containing 1.4g crude drug) was used to treat sick sinus syndrome. Method: 3~5 tablets, tid, 30 days as a course of treatment, cooperated with etiological treatment. 10 cases were treated, and the heart rate was increased by 20 times per minutes averagely after treatment.
19 cases of leukopenia were treated with bu gu zhi. Method: after being parched slightly, bu gu zhi was grinded into fine powder and made into honeyed pill of 6g weight, 1~3 pills every time, tid, being taken with saline water. 4 weeks as a course of treatment, after 1~2 courses, 18 cases were effective.
Bu Gu Zhi Injection (1ml containing 1g crude drug), 4 ml for intramuscular injection every day, 10 times as a course. There’s a three-day interval between every two courses. 800 cases of psoriasis were treated, and 93% cases were effective.
Bu Gu Zhi Wan was used to treat vitiligo. Prescription: bu gu zhi 500g, bai zhi 400g, bai ji li 60g, zi cao 300g, cang zhu 100g, shou wu 100g. All drugs were grinded into extremely fine powder and made into honeyed pill of 5g weight. 1 pill every time, tid, for 3~6 months. Besides, Bu Gu Zhi tincture was used externally. 280 cases were treated, 246 of them were effective, 34 ineffective.
Prescription: yi zhi ren 6~12g, sha ren 3~6g, fu ling 10g, chen pi 6~10g, zhi gan cao 6g, chao bai zhu 6~10g, ji nei jin 3~6g. 1 dose every day, taken warm in three times. This prescription could be used to treat adult patients with dyspepsia due to deficient Cold of Spleen and Stomach. For infantile patients with salivation and dyspepsia due to weak constitution, he zi rou 6g can be added. Usually, after 5~6 doses, salivation could be improved and appetite would be increased.
125 cases of chylous urine were treated with the following method. Basic formula: yi zhi ren, wu yao, shi chang pu, shi lian zi 15g each; zhu ling, ze xie, bai zhu 12g each; gan cao 6g. Variations: with difficulty in urination, add huang bo, zhi zi, hua shi, chi xiao dou; with obvious hematuria, add pu huang tan, ou jie, bai mao gen; with soreness of the waist, add gou ji, sang ji sheng. 1 dose every day, being decocted with water, 5~10 doses as a course of treatment. After 1~3 courses, 113 cases were cured, 9 improved, 3 ineffective.
