Jian Gu Tang was used to treat 383 cases of osteo arthropathy. Prescription: dan shen, lu jiao pian, hou gu, huang qi, 18g each; song jie, yan hu suo, 15g each; bu gu zhi, ji nei jin, gu sui bu, 9g; pao shan jia, 6g. 1 dose every day, taken after being decocted with water, 15 days as a course of treatment. Results: 94.5% cases were effective.
40 cases mammary lobular hyperplasia were treated with Lu Jia San (experiential formula). Prescription: lu jiao pian, chuan shan jia, 60g each; wang bu liu xing, san leng, e zhu, 100g each. All drugs were grinded into fine powder. Dosage and usage: 9g, tid. After three months’ treatment, 36 cases were effective.
32 cases of hypothyrosis were treated with Shen Lu Pian. Prescription: lu jiao pian 4.5g, yin yang huo 30g, dang shen 12g, suo yang 12g, gou qi 9g. The drugs were made into tablets according to the above proportion, each tablets contained 5g crude drugs. Dosage and usage: 5 tablets, tid, three months as a course of treatment. 32 cases were effective.
110 cases of cerebrak concussion and 5 cases of brain trauma in recovery phase were treated with the following methods: gui ban, gou teng, sheng long gu, sheng mu li, 30g each; yuan zhi, ze xie, dang gui, ye ju hua, 9g each; suan zao ren, shi jue ming, 15g; chuan xiong, gan cao, 6g each. All drugs were decocted twice and concentrated to 40ml. The first-time dosage was 40ml, then 20ml each time, bid, 1~14 days as a course of treatment. Results: all cases were clinically cured or improved; and the average hospitalization time was 13.8 days.
Basic formula: gui ban 30g, lu jiao shuang 6g, dang shen 15g, gou qi 9g, e jiao 9g, bai cao shuang 9g, sheng di 9g, huang qi 9g. The formula could be modified according to clinical symptoms and signs. All drugs were decocted with water. 10 cases of profuse menstruation were treated with formula, after 3~5 doses’ treatment, all were effective.
89 cases of postpartum lumbago of Kidney-yin deficiency type were treated with the following prescription: gui ban, shan yu rou, shu di, 15g each; zhi mu, huang bo, gou qi, niu xi, lu jiao jiao, 10g each; shan yao 12g. 1 dose every day, taken after being decocted with water. 86 out of 89 cases were effective.
Chronic hepatitis were treated with Fu Fang San Jia San Chong Ji (experimental formul). Prescription: gui ban, bie jia, chuan shan jia, huang qi, dan shen, chi shao, yu jin, tao ren, ji nei jin. All drugs were made into granules. 5g each time, tid, 3 months as a course of treatment. Among the 48 treated cases, 42 cases’ albumin increased, and 28 cases’ globin decreased.
Bu Shen Yi Jing Sheng Bai Tang (experimental formula): lu jiao jiao, gui ban jiao, 12g each; tu si zi, bu gu zhi, ba ji tian, du zhong, shan yu rou, bai zhu, 10g each; gou qi, fu ling, 12g each; huang qi, 30g; hong shen 5g. Modifiy the formula according to TCM differentiation, 1 dose every day, taken after being decocted with water. 78 cases of leucopenia were treated and 73 were effective.
