Shan Zhu Tang was used to treat 892 cases of infantile diarrhea. Prescription: shan yao 9g; shan zhu yu, huang qin, ying su ke 3g each; long yan rou, ge gen, che qian zi 4g each. The prescription was modified according to TCM differentiation. After being decocted, the medicine was taken warm. Results: except for 16 ineffective cases, others were effective.
Basic formula: chao shan yao, tu chao bai shao, han lian cao, nu zhen zi, yi mu cao, 30g each; e jiao 10g; shan yu rou 12g; dang gui, gan cao, ba ji tian, 9 g each. The formula was modified according to TCM differentiation. 1 dose every day, being decocted in water. 50 cases were treated, 46 were effective.
30 cases of angina due to coronary heart disease were treated. Methods: puerarin 500mg was mixed into 500ml 5% glucose for intravenous drip injection, once every day, 1 week as a course of treatment. After one month’s treatment, 9 cases were markedly effective, 17 effective, 4 ineffective, the total effective rate was 86.6%.
200 cases of typhoid or paratyphoid were treated with the formula consisting of 15g ge gen, 30g huang qin, 20g huang lian, 3g gan cao, 1 dose every day. 116 out of them were markedly effective, 82 effective, 2 ineffective, the total effective rate was 99%.
200~400mg puerarin injection was mixed into 500ml 5% glucose for intravenous drip use, once every day, 10 days as a course of treatment, and there’s a 3-day interval between two courses. 30 eyes were treated, the total effective rate was 76.6%.
Infantile patients with infantile fungal enteritis were treated with the formula consisting of ge gen, wu mei, he ye, chuan huang lian, jin yin hua, bain dou yi, shi liu pi and sheng gan cao. All drugs were decocted to a liquor of 1:1 concentration. Usage and dosage: 5ml/kg, take the liquor in three times. Results: all cases were cured.
30 patients with diabetes of Kidney-yin deficiency were treated with the formula consisting of ge gen 25g; tian hua fen, sheng di, shan yao 30g each; ze xie 9g; fu ling 12g; shan yu rou, dan pi 10g each, 10~30 days as a course of treatment. Results: 20 cases were markedly effective, 7 effective, 3 ineffective.
200~400mg puerarin was mixed into 20ml 50% glucose for intravenous injection, which should be injected within 5~10 minutes. 4 hours’ later, mix 500mg puerarin to 500ml 10% glucose for intravenous drip, which should be finished with 4 hours, once every day, 7 days in succession. 22 patients with arrhythmia (including frequent and occasional atrial premature beat, ventricular premature beat, atrial flutter and atrial fibrillation, etc.) were observed. Results: 6 cases were markedly effective, 7 effective, the total effective rate was 60%.
10g mu xiang and15g da huang were immersed in 300ml boiling water for 10 minutes. Take the liquor frequently to treat biliary colic. 21 cases were remitted, 20 alleviated, 4 ineffective.
mu xiang, zhi ke, chi shao, yan hu suo, chuan lian zi, yu li ren, sheng da huang (being decocted later), ma xiang, 5g each; chuan po, huang bo, chao lai fu zi, gan cao, 3g each; dang gui 6g; gua lou 10g. The decoction was infused through stomach tube, 1 dose every day, twice every day, till the ileus was relieved. 33 cases were treated, 30 out of them were cured, 3 were ineffective.
Equal amount of ding xiang, rou gui, mu xiang, wu wei zi were grinded into fine powder and made into paste with 75% ethanol. The paste was applied to the navel and covered with polyethylene film of 7cm´7cm size. For patients younger than 6 months, the applying time was within 1.5 hours; for those from 6 months to 5 years, 1.5~2 hours; for those from 1.5~2 years, 3 hours. Once every day, 3 times as a course of treatment. Among the 1000 treated cases, 98% were effective.
Supplemented Xiang Sha Liu Jun Zi Tang combining western medicine was used to treat bile-regurgitational gastritis. Prescription: mu xiang 15g, sha ren 15g, dang shen 12g, bai zhu 12g, fu ling 10g, chen pi 10g, qing ban xia 10g, chai hu 10g, yu jin 12g, jiao shan zha 15g, shen qu 15g, gan cao 12g. With gall stone, add chuan xin lian 20g, ban zhi lian 20g, huang qin 12g, yin chen 15g; with icteric sclera, add zhu ru 12g, zhi zi 12g, etc.. 204 cases were treated, after 1~2 months’ treatement, 67 were cured, 37 improved.
