20 cases of epilepsy were treated with Kang Xian San. Prescription: tian nan xing, shi chang pu, tian zhu huang, chuan bei mu, zhi wu gong, zhi quan xie, wu shao she, 10g each; zhi di long 20g, ling yang jiao fen 2g, hou zao 1g, ma bao 3g, dan shen 30g, zhi yuan zhi 5g. All drugs were grinded into powder. Among the treated cases, 8 were markedly effective, 7 effective, 5 ineffective.
zhi nan xing, ju ming zi, chan yong, 6Kg each; rou gui 4Kg; hei da dou pi 12Kg; all drugs were made into tablets, 4~6 tablets every time, 3~4 times every day, 1 month as a course of treatment. 158 cases of hypercholesterolemia were treated, and the effective rate was 90.5%; among the treated 132 cases of hypertriglyceridemia, 90.5% were effective.
500 cases of pharyngal neurosis were treated with the following method. Prescription: xuan fu hua, xiang fu, zhi ke, 15g each; dai zhe shi 20g; zhi ban xia, jie geng 12g each; sheng jiang 10g; zhi gan cao 5g. With stuffy chest, add yu jin, fo shou; with palpitation and insomnia, add yuan zhi, wu wei zi, suan zao ren; with abdominal bloating, add hou po, zhi shi; with dyspepsia, add bai dou kou, shan zha, shen qu. 1 dose every day. After 3~27 cases, 93% were effective, and recurrence rate was 12%.
200 cases of peptic ulcer were treated with the following method according to TCM differentiation. Prescription: xuan fu huan, hou po hua, zhi shi, gan cao, chai hu, qing ban xia, huang lian, shi chang pu, 12g each; meng shi, e zhu, mo yao, zhi zi, 10g each; bai ji 30g; gua lou, xiang fu, 20g each. Results: 73 cases were effective after 60 days’ treatment.
