Xin Qin Chong Ji was used to treat 367cases of allergic rhinitis. Methods: 30g, tid. Results: the total effective rate was 80.1%. 21 cases in the control group were treated with chlorphenamine, the effective rate was 28.5%. Further observation showed that the curative effect of this formula on patients whose absolute value of blood eosinophilic granulocyte were more than 300/mm3 (90%) was significantly higher than the effect over those less than 300/mm3 (77.8%). 81 out of the 367 cases also took liver function test and routine urine examination, no injury to the liver and kidney function were observed.
