Ingredients
Rehmannia glutinosa (Shu Di, processed rehmannia)
Dioscorea opposita (Shan Yao, dioscorea)
Lycium chinensis (Gou Qi Zi, lycium fruit)
Cornus officinalis (Shan Zhu Yu, cornus)
Achyranthes bidentata (Niu Xi, achyranthes)
Cuscuta chinensis (Tu Si Zi, cuscuta)
Cornu cervi deglutinate (Lu Jiao Jiao, antler gelatine)
Chinemys reevesii (Gui Ban Jiao, turtle shell* gelatine)

Major therapeutic action
Nourishes yin, invigorates the Kidney, enriches jing, supplements Marrow.

Biomedical action
Invigorating, antifebrile.

*  Essence and Blood deficiency of the Liver and Kidney.
*  With the appropriate key symptoms, this formula can be used to treat biomedical conditions such as chronic nephritis, chronic tuberculosis, infertility, and sexual disorders, etc.

Dosage
The typical dose is three grams twice daily, before meals. In severe cases or the early stages of treatment (the first two weeks), a 50-100% increase in dose may be used, then reduced as the treatment takes effect.
