Indications
o Deficiency of chong and ren meridians in women.
o With the appropriate key symptoms, this formula can be used to treat biomedical conditions such as dysfunctional uterine bleeding, threatened abortion and subinvolution of uterus.

Combinations
o With qi deficiency, add Dang Shen/Astragalus membranaceous (Huang Qi, astragalus).

o With Liver depression and qi stagnation, combine with Xiao Yao San.
o With internal stagnation of blood, add Yi Mu Cao and Typhae angustifolia (Pu Huang, cattail pollen)/Wu
Ling Zhi. |
Dosage
The typical dose is three grams twice daily, before meals. In severe cases or the early stages of treatment
(the first two weeks), a 50-100% increase in dose may be used, then reduced as the treatment takes effect. |
