Ootheca mantidis (Sang Piao Xiao, Mantis egg-case)
Polygala sibiricum (Yuan Zhi, polygala)
Acorus gramineus (Shi Chang Pu, sweetflag)
Os Draconis (Long Gu, dragon bone)
Panax ginseng (Ren Shen, ginseng)
Poria cocos (Fu Shen, poria with hostwood)
Angelica sinensis (Dang Gui, Chinese angelica)

Major therapeutic action
Regulates and nourishes the Heart and Kidney, fortifies the Essence and stops spermatorrhoea.

 Biomedical action
Arresting polyuria.

Indications
o  Heart and Kidney deficiency.
o  With the appropriate key symptoms, this formula can be used to treat biomedical conditions such as incontinence of the urine in the senile, enuresis of children, and increased nocturia due to decreased renal function.

The typical dose is three grams twice daily, before meals. In severe cases or the early stages of treatment
