Codonopsis pilosula – (Dang Shen, Downy bellflower root)
Dendrobium nobile – (Shi Hu, Stonebushel stem)

Symptom Pattern:
Epigastric fullness with nausea and occasional vomiting, anorexia, soft and unformed stool, dry mouth but not much desire for fluids and heat sensation in the palms and soles. Tinnitus and vertigo with lumbar pain. Crimson red tongue without coat but flabby in form.
