Ingredients
Astragalus membranaceous (Huang Qi, astragalus)
Ganoderma Lucidum (Ling Zhi, Ganoderma)
Salvia miltorrhiza (Dan Shen, salvia)
Atractylodes macrocephala (Bai Zhu, atractylodes)
Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Gan Cao, liquorice)
Rehmannia glutinosa (Shu Di, processed rehmannia)
Amomum villosum (Sha Ren, amomun fruit)
Schizandra chinensis (Wu Wei Zi, schizandra)
|Zingiber officinalis (Sheng Jiang, ginger)
Zizyphus jujuba (Da Zao, Chinese date)
Spatholobus suberectus (Ji Xue Teng, spatholobus stem)
Cuscuta chinensis (Tu Si Zi, cuscuta)
Dioscorea opposita (Shan Yao, dioscorea)

Major therapeutic action
Augments qi, nourishes Blood, promotes vital energy, strengthens immunity, moisturises the body.

Biomedical action
Elevates the immunologic function, increases RBC production, prevents viral reproduction.

Indications
o Fatigue, weak digestion or despondency resulting from a compromised immune system.
o Post viral diseases, immune deficiency disorders, glandular fever, adjunct to chemotherapy

o shortness of breath, weak voice, reluctance to speak.
o spontaneous sweating
o pallid complexion
o postural hypotension

o tongue: pale, swollen, with thin fur
o pulse: weak, soft or fine, small or deep

Cautions and contraindications
Avoid concurrent use with stimulants like coffee, chilli and cola drinks.
Acute Flu symptoms.
Dosage
The typical dose is three grams twice daily, before meals. In severe cases or the early stages of treatment
(the first two weeks), a 50-100% increase in dose may be used, then reduced as the treatment takes effect.
