Pattern:
Stagnation of qi and Blood.

Symptom Pattern:
Usually present during the later stage of stomach cancer. Gastric pain, dark vomitus, internal bleeding,
emaciation, and a purple tongue body.
Ingredients
Pteris multifida – (Feng Wei Cao, Phoenix tail fern)
Angelica sinensis – (Dang Gui, Dong Quai root)
Prunus persica – (Tao Ren, Peach kernel)
Paeonia lactiflora – (Bai Shao, White Peony root)
Cyperus rotundus – (Xiang Fu, Purple nutsedge root)
Citrus aurantium – (Zhi Shi, unripe bitter orange fruit)
Crataegus pinnatifida – (Shan Zha, Asian hawthorn berry)
Prunella vulgaris – (Xia Ku Cao, Selfheal spike)
For qi deficiency add:
General lassitude, weakness and depression in addition to the above.
Codonopsis pilosula – (Dang Shen, Downy bellflower root)
Astragalus membranaceous – (Huang Qi, Astragalus root)
